The AFCAT i.e. Air Force Common Admission Test in its abbreviated form is a commissioned level examination conducted by the IAF (Indian Air Force) twice in a year for the selection of male as well as female officers into all branches of the Indian Air Force except for Medical branch and Dental branch. AFCAT examination is an officer recruitment gateway in three branches of Air Force – Flying Branch (Short Service Commission only), Ground Duty (Technical branch - Permanent & Short Service Commission) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch - Permanent & Short Service Commission).

• Cut off marks for AFCAT-I is 150 out of 300 for AFCAT Paper-II 60 of 150 for EKT. Only those candidates who have cleared
both AFCAT and EKT will be considered for Technical Branch. All candidates may login to their account to view their individual AFCAT/ EKT Marks.
• NEGATIVE MARKS
• Negative marking is concerned there is one-third negative marking in AFCAT 2018 exam. For every wrong answer, 1mark will be deducted as penalty.
