AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST

The AFCAT i.e. Air Force Common Admission Test in its abbreviated form is a commissioned level examination conducted by the IAF (Indian Air Force) twice in a year for the selection of male as well as female officers into all branches of the Indian Air Force except for Medical branch and Dental branch. AFCAT examination is an officer recruitment gateway in three branches of Air Force – Flying Branch (Short Service Commission only), Ground Duty (Technical branch - Permanent & Short Service Commission) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch - Permanent & Short Service Commission).

For Ground Duty Technical: Degree from a recognized university With 60 % marks
• iii) For Ground Duty Non-Technical: Degree of a recognized University with Physics , Mathematics, chemistry, statistic, International Relation ,Defence studies, Psychology, computer science , IT, Management , Mass Communication etc. with a 50% marks in aggregate all papers put together in Post Graduation and 60% Marks in Graduation

CUT OFF

• Cut off marks for AFCAT-I is 150 out of 300 for AFCAT Paper-II 60 of 150 for EKT. Only those candidates who have cleared both AFCAT and EKT will be considered for Technical Branch. All candidates may login to their account to view their individual AFCAT/ EKT Marks.
• NEGATIVE MARKS
• Negative marking is concerned there is one-third negative marking in AFCAT 2018 exam. For every wrong answer, 1mark will be deducted as penalty.


PHYSICAL FITNESS TRAINING

Being physically fit is one of the most important factor to a defence aspiring candidate should have. Not just a factor it one of the important phase every candidate has to qualify so as to get in Indian Armed Forces. Therefore, Sundays in Garud Zep Academy is dedicated for Physical Fitness Training of candidates. The Physical training is done as per the required standards of Indian Armed Forces.




CLASS TEST & MOCK TEST

Self analysis and evaluation is very important for a student preparing for any type of examination.
