NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

NDA/NA i.e. the examination for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy is the biggest opportunity for those candidates who want to join Indian Armed Forces. It is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of commissioned officers in Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force. The exam has three stages to qualify i.e. written examination, SSB interviews and Medical examination . NDA stands for National Defence Academy situated in Khadakwasla, Pune (Maharashtra) and NA stands for Naval Academy situated at Ezhimala, Kerala. Those who qualify NDA/NA examination will undergo 4 Year Course and training to become an Officer in these institutions.

CUT OFF

National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (II) Examination, 2019 Minimum qualifying standard approved at the written stage and marks secured by the last recommended candidate at final stage of the examination Minimum qualifying standard approved at the written stage (Out of 900 marks): 330 expected (with at least 35-40% marks in each subject Marks secured by the last finally recommended candidate (Out of 1800 marks): 700 EXPECTED


NEGATIVE MARKS

• Marks for Each Correct Answer = 2.5 for Maths , 4 for English , 4 for G.K
• Negative Marks for Incorrect Answer = -0.83 for Maths , -1.33 for English , -1.33 for G.K


PHYSICAL FITNESS TRAINING

Being physically fit is one of the most important factor to a defence aspiring candidate should have. Not just a factor it one of the important phase every candidate has to qualify so as to get in Indian Armed Forces. Therefore, Sundays in Garud Zep Academy is dedicated for Physical Fitness Training of candidates. The Physical training is done as per the required standards of Indian Armed Forces.




CLASS TEST & MOCK TEST

Self analysis and evaluation is very important for a student preparing for any type of examination. Therefore, to check the candidate’s performance and to evaluate their potential Garud Zep Academy conducts various type of tests i.e. unit test, Monthly test and Mock test, from time to time. The unit tests too are conducted through different methods i.e. pen-paper test & projector based test. Mock test for NDA is conducted in every 6 month to fully prepare them for the actual scenario of NDA examination.


Personality Development

Personality Development Programme lays high emphasis on improving communication skills of students. Language leadership programme works on students to improve their spoken English skills & soft skills so that they can communicate effectively in various situations and will also help them to face the interviews confidently.
